«INSO-Lviv» Orchestra (International Symphony Orchestra) despite its young age (founded in 1998) can boast the rich, versatile and successful experience of concert activity both in Ukraine and abroad. The orchestra “Golden Fund” is comprised of collaboration with the world- renowned musicians and conductors, among whom are Francois Leleux, Lisa Batiashvili, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Alexander Zemtsov, Dirk Brossé, Sergey Nakariakov, Otto Sauter, Ilya Grubert, Alan Bern, Valeriy Sokolov, Vadim Neselovskyi, Lorin Sklamberg, Raymond Janssen, Andriy Bielov, Leopold Kozlowski, Claude Delangle, Fahraddin Kerimov, Steven Decraene, Anna Skryleva, Nicolás Pasquet, Dalia Stasevska, Alessandro Safina, Maria Prinz, Philippe Pierlot and many others. Annually INSO-Lviv orchestra sets off on concert tours in European countries (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain). The geography of concert tours also includes such countries as China and Colombia.

«INSO-Lviv» orchestra has been enthusiastically implementing its creative, educational and cultural diplomatic mission, constantly searching for the new forms of classical music performance and promotion among the existing and potential audience, practicing cross-art approach, including among others ballet, sand animation, video background. The orchestra is a regular participant of annual festivals held in Lviv: VIRTUOSOS International Festival of Music Art, CONTRASTS International Contemporary Music Festival, LvivKlezFest Jewish Music Festival. «INSO-Lviv» orchestra has successfully represented Ukraine at the International festivals and arts projects in Poland. In 2016 “INSO-Lviv” Orchestra together with the world renowned jazz pianist and composer Vadim Neselovskyi (USA) opened the prestigious ALFA JAZZ FEST in Lviv, ranked, according to «The Guardian», one of the best jazz festivals in Europe in 2016. «INSO-Lviv» orchestra holds several awards and recognitions, among them: Radio Swiss Classic «Love» Award, «Golden Disc» «Franz Xaver Mozart Klavierkonzerte» Award, Radio Swiss Classic «Schumann / Beethoven Klavierkonzerte» Award.

In March 2015 «INSO-Lviv» orchestra initiated and carried out a wide-scale international cultural event «BACH Marathon in Lviv – Ready. Steady. BACH!» that set the record for the longest live performance of Bach music in Ukraine. Beginning of 2015/2016 concert season was highlighted by the international cultural event – concert “CLASSIC FOR PEACE” under the auspices of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Ukraine on occasion of the King’s Day at the National Opera of Ukraine on November 15th. The project featured the world-renowned composer, principal conductor of The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and Principal Conductor of the Star Wars in Concert World Tour Sir Dirk Brossé. The 2016/2017 concert season inauguration concert-dedication “In Memoriam: United by Music” was marked by collaboration with Maria Prinz (piano), Philippe Pierlot (flute) and Alexander Zemtsov (viola, conductor). In August 2017 the orchestra is performing four concerts in the LvivMozArt Festival, celebrating the music legacy of Franz Xaver Mozart who is closely associated with Lviv history. Enhancing Ukrainian - Austrian cultural relations, in collaboration with the Austrian conductor Maestro Georg Kugi, INSO-Lviv annually gives concerts like “Symphonic Pearls of Vienna”or “Music of the Danube Region”. Theevent is covered by the European media and will be broadcast by ARTE “INSO-Lviv” Orchestra is invited to serve as an orchestra-in-residence at the 24th International Johannes Brahms Competition 2017 in Poertschach (Austria).The young “INSO-Lviv” orchestra is a bright palette of emotions and harmony embodied in music which the musicians generously share with the audience.

The Artistic Director of the orchestra is the People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of Taras Shevchenko National Prize, Academician of Ukrainian Academy of Arts, Professor, Candidate of Art History, The Hero of Ukraine – Myroslav SKORYK. Since 2007 the orchestra’s Head of the Board, creative advisor and initiator of many projects and programs has been Iolanta Pryshlyak.
